True Tech Systems, Inc. Provides a Limited Warranty on all new
Elite Computer Systems:
The warranty is good for one year from the purchase
date on the original invoice.
Extended warranty's
are available for purchase from True Tech Systems, Inc.Extended warranty
must be purchased one month after origional invoice date .
The following is an explanation of what
is covered by the warranty and what is your responsibility related to
repairs of your in-warranty computer system.
Hardware Warranty: True Tech Systems, Inc. warranty
all hardware in your Elite System for ONE
YEAR INCLUDING PARTS AND LABOR. However abuse or a natural
disaster are not covered.
Abuse is determined by True Tech Systems, Inc.
For example:
- System has been dropped or signs of rough treatment.
- Bad electrical
power in a home or business will damage power supply,or hard drives.
If it is determined that these items are damaged because of bad power
they will not be covered.
- Water or other spills on or in system or other related items.
- Parts added by other than TRUE TECH SYSTEMS to system and are installed
incorrectly or static shocks by not using proper grounding equipment
or lack of care.
- Fire
- Water damage
- Pets chewing on cables
There are three causes of problems that can be experienced on a computer:
Hardware, Software and User. Your computer warranty
covers parts and labor for hardware related problems.
Software and user error related problems are not covered. Most
of these problems can be handled quickly by contacting our Tech Department.
If the trouble is more extensive, we will charge our standard service
fee.
In-house Repairs only: The warranty covers in-store repairs. If service
is needed at your location labor charges would apply.
Elite Computer Systems warranty repairs have priority over all other
in shop repairs.
Here are some common problems and how they relate to your warranty:
Viruses and Spyware. Virus fixes or spyware related
problems are not covered by your warranty. Each computer has susceptibility
to viruses and spyware and it is the owner’s
responsibility to utilize virus protection and anti-spyware software.
Even if the computer was supplied with virus protection and anti-spyware
protection when it was new, we cannot guarantee that it will catch all
viruses especially if they are not kept up to date or expire. We can
often fix problems that are caused by a virus or spyware for our normal
fees.
Software: Any software we install, including the operating
system (Windows XP_Pro, XP_Home,Windows MC, or Windows Servers), is not
covered by the warranty. We do not warranty any software or drivers installed
by other parties. However, we will help you with the problems
related to software. In today’s
software world, it is uncommon for the companies to offer very good free
support. Often, the problem you are having has solutions posted on the
particular software company’s
web site.
Internet connections. Customers having a problem connecting
to their ISP or Online Service (such as AOL, MSN). These problems are
not covered under the warranty however we (if we are given the information
and can hook up to your ISP we will set up your internet connection at
build time of your systems free of charge). Usually the computer user’s
first troubleshooting effort is to check with the online provider, or
to call us for direction on how to solve the problem. If you did want
our help troubleshooting the problem we would be glad to help, at our
normal service rates.
User-Related problems. We warn our customers against
re-installing Windows when they have a problem. However, some still try.
Re-installing Windows usually causes more problems than it solves for
the inexperienced. We recommend against it. Additionally, if our assistance
is needed after such an attempt, it is not covered under the warranty.
